We are seeking an experienced PAS Benefits Consultant to support the benefits realisation workstream of a major NHS EPR programme. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of NHS PAS processes and proven experience identifying, measuring, and evidencing benefits arising from PAS and EPR implementation.
Working closely with operational, clinical, digital, and programme teams, you will establish baselines, define benefit measures, and track delivery of improvements across patient access, RTT, outpatient services, waiting list management, patient flow, and data quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the identification, definition, and tracking of PAS-related benefits across the EPR programme.
- Establish and validate baseline metrics including RTT, outpatient utilisation, DNA rates, waiting list performance, patient flow, and data quality.
- Develop benefits profiles, reporting mechanisms, and benefits realisation plans.
- Facilitate workshops with operational and clinical stakeholders to agree benefits, ownership, and measurement criteria.
- Monitor benefits throughout implementation, go-live, and optimisation phases.
- Produce benefits reports and dashboards for Programme Boards and senior stakeholders.
- Support operational teams to embed changes and realise measurable improvements post go-live.
Essential Experience
- Significant NHS experience delivering benefits realisation within PAS and/or EPR programmes.
- Strong knowledge of NHS operational processes including Patient Access, RTT, Outpatients, Elective Care, and Waiting List Management.
- Experience working on large-scale EPR implementations.
- Proven ability to establish baselines, analyse performance data, and evidence benefits delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
